美媒：華府傳向歐洲施壓　籲勿用同方威視產品

美國政府正游說歐盟國家拒絕採用中國最大安全檢查設備生產商同方威視產品，同方威視主力生產安全掃瞄設備，歐洲部份國家邊境、港口及機場亦有使用同方威視產品進行保安檢查。《華爾街日報》取得美國政府內部文件指同方威視與多間歐洲公司為競爭對手，但因同方威視定價較低，甚至為唯一投標者而獲得部份歐洲國家採用。美國政府官員擔憂同方威視會擷取安全檢查系統中的個人或商業資訊交予中國政府，威脅西方國家安全。

US government are attempting to persuade EU countries refuse to use Nuctech company’s products. Nuctech is the biggest advanced security & inspection solution company in China. Some EU countries’ boarder, ports and airports have used its equipment for security screening. The Wall Street Journal obtained the US government internal documents that Nuctech and a number of EU companies are competitors. However, Nuctech’s products are priced lower and adopted by some EU countries as a sole bidder. US government officials be concerned that Nuctech will capture personal or commercial data which in the security inspection system and send to the Chinese government, harm on Western countries.
